The debut release under my own name, and the debut of the "Playthroughs" concept / patch. Issued by Danny Wyatt & Daniel Raffel on their fledgling Apartment B imprint alongside the debut album by The Books' Nick Zammuto, mastered by Adrien Morgan at Sterling Sound.

Two 10+ minute, improvised takes of Bently Acoustic Guitar played through a Dean Markley pickup into the microphone input of a G3 laptop running TC Electronics Spark FX Machine populated with mdaTracker, Steinberg Karlette, GRM Tools Shuffler, and Spark Reverb, recorded out of the headphone jack to an Aiwa portable DAT machine.

This release laid the groundwork for many years of exploration of glacially shifting synthesized sound; I'm still very fond of both of these early takes.
